Are my payment methods secure on PivoHub?
You can make your payments on PivoHub, but how can you trust it? We work with our payment partner, Stripe, which ensures significant security for our clients. PivoHub does not store payment information to prevent any data breaches.
Security First
About Stripe
Stripe is a global leader in payment processing, used by companies like Google, Amazon, and Slack, among millions of others worldwide. In fact, Stripe already has over 90% of North American credit cards registered in its vault. So if you’ve used your card with Amazon, Stripe likely already has your information on file.
How Stripe’s Secure Vault Protects Your Data
When you enter payment information on PivoHub, it is securely sent directly from your browser to Stripe’s secure vault.
Stripe stores your payment information and sends back a reference number along with the last four digits of your credit card. These are the only details we store. After your first payment, we only need to provide your reference number to Stripe to charge your card.
Stripe is the Global Leader in Online Payments
Stripe is certified as a PCI Service Provider Level 1, the most stringent certification level in the payments industry. Each year, Stripe undergoes independent audits by Visa or Mastercard approved firms and processes over $100 billion in transactions annually.
Stripe allows us to do things like:
Display the supplier name and invoice numbers on the buyer’s credit card statement to facilitate reconciliation.
Automatically update expired/replaced credit cards so you don’t have to.
For more information on Stripe’s security measures and how they handle payment data, you can check their official documentation and resources.
