Set your products' availability settings

Product availability settings allow you to control your customers' access to products.

Step 1: From your main menu, go to the Availability page.

Step 2: Click on the pencil icon next to the product you want to modify the availability settings for.

From there, you can configure the following conditions:

  • Unlimited availability

  • Visibility

  • Allocations

  • Maximum per order

Unlimited availability

Unlimited availability allows retailers to order this product even when the inventory is at 0.

To make the availability unlimited for this product, slide the Unlimited button.

Note: If your quantity is limited, keep an eye on unlimited products to avoid running into stock problems.

Visibility

Visibility settings determine which customers will be able to see this product in their PivoHub marketplace. To modify visibility, click in the Visibility area, then choose the option and group that suits you.

To facilitate the use of this functionality, it’s useful to segment your clients and customers into groups. That way, the visibility can be adjusted for groups of customers instead of individual customers.

Allocations

Allocations determine a quantity of products that will be specifically set aside for the selected group. This will reduce the available inventory for all retailers who are not part of this group.

Step 1: Click in the Allocation by group box.

Step 2: Click in the Add a group area, then select the group for which you want to reserve a quantity of products.

Step 3: Click the Add button.

Step 4: Click on the quantity in the Allocation column, then enter the quantity you want to add.

To modify an allocated quantity, click on the number you want to change and enter the new information in the box.

The number listed under Not Allocated represents the quantity available for customers who are not part of a group with an allocation.

You can add as many groups as desired and define the quantities allocated for each group.

Maximum per Order

Maximum per order limits the quantity of this product that can be purchased in a single order.

To facilitate the use of this functionality, it’s useful to segment your clients and customers into groups. That way, the maximums per order can be adjusted for groups of customers instead of individual customers.

Step 1: Click in the Maximum per order box.

Step 2: Click in the Add a group area, then select the group targeted by the maximum per order.

Step 3: Click the Add button.

Step 4: Click on the quantity in the Maximum per order column, then enter the quantity you want to add.

Default Maximum per Order

Changing the default maximum per order determines the maximum per order for all customers not included in a group for which you have set a specific maximum per order.

Once you have finished setting up the availability settings for this product, click Save.
